Hi there! I’m Cheng-You Ho (何承祐), a Yale freshman grown up in Chiayi City, Taiwan, with a passion for physics and a deep curiosity about the universe. Over the years, I’ve competed in multiple Olympiads and earned science fair awards in for my astrophysics work. I have done research on stellar evolution, dark matter, carbon capture, etc.

Aug 03, 2025 I have received the Silver Medal in the 2025 International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in Paris, France, after receiving the Gold Medal in the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. I’m happy that hard work has paid off, and may the physics journey continue!
Mar 29, 2025 After a three-week-long final selection camp, I was thrilled to be chosen for the national Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) team! Looking forward to the international competition this May.
Mar 28, 2025 Accepted to Yale University, Class of 2029!
Feb 01, 2025 I’m selected for the Winter cohort of the Non-Trivial Research Foundations Program. Excited to research global issues this February!
